Questions clients ask first
What is the difference between Project Management and General Contracting?
In Project Management you keep the contracts with the designer and the contractors, and we represent you and verify cost, quality and schedule. In General Contracting you sign one contract with LEXTIM, and we build and coordinate all trades.
When is the best moment to bring LEXTIM in?
As early as possible, ideally before the design is final and before you sign with a contractor. Most cost is decided in design and in the contract. We also take over projects that are already in construction.
What size of project do you take?
From a private house to public and industrial contracts above €20 million. The method is the same. The team and the reporting scale with the project.
Where do you work?
In Romania, in Spain (Canary Islands and mainland), and on international projects. We work in Romanian, English, Spanish and Italian, and we use FIDIC contract forms when the project needs them.
How do I know the status of my project?
You receive a written report each month: progress against the schedule, cost against the budget, open risks, and the decisions we need from you. Between reports you have one contact person.
What do you need to prepare a quote?
The type of project, the location, the approximate area or budget, the stage (idea, design, permit, construction) and a phone number. We call you, ask the remaining questions, and send a written offer.
